What to expect
Day 1
Your private tour begins with pick up from your accommodation in Perth CBD or Fremantle. Take in the sights as we transition from the hustle and bustle of the city into the peaceful nature of South Western Australia. We’ll drive through the heart of South Western Australia to the famous Donnybrook apple and stone fruit orchard. We will drive our first short 4WD track in Jarrahwood State Forest.
The track follows the Blackwood River with some of the most amazing places to stop. We will have a short rest with snacks.
After that, we’ll head to a beautiful, quaint little town called Nannup. We will relax and recharge at this little country town and have lunch before going off on our second 4WD track to our campground, where we will spend the night. After an eventful day, your guide will set up camp and dinner while you enjoy the unique fauna and flora around you. Once it’s dark, you can gaze upon stars and the milky way, while sitting and relaxing by the bonfire (fire season from April to November).
Day 2
After a good sleep under the stars, we’ll start the next day with breakfast in beautiful nature. We will begin the trip by driving through the majestic Blackwood State Forest, home to the third tallest tree species in the world, to our next stop Hamelin Bay. Hamelin Bay, which is situated at the southwest coast, is a serene, open and sandy baythat is famous for an abundance of stingrays which frequent the bay. Have a morning swim or a leisurely walk along the pristine white beach, before we proceed to one of the stunning limestone caves in Cape Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. We will then have lunch at Margaret River for a well-deserved break, where you can satisfy your palate with premium wine, excellent chocolate and cheese that are produced from this popular culinary region. On the way back to Perth, we will stop for dinner at a local restaurant, before your tour ends in the late evening.
